
Education and Service Development Consultant
Marieke has worked as an occupational therapist and research clinician in community, in-patient and specialist mental health services across Australia and has had experience working in various health settings in the UK, France and India. She has a background and interest in health promotion, program development and research and is currently undertaking a Master of Public Health at Monash University. In her previous role she was involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based psychosocial programs that recognised the diverse needs of community members. She has a keen interest in improving access to mental health supports for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and forging strong working relationships between health services and the wider community in order to promote early intervention and prevention of mental health issues.
