This website has links to 2001 Census population figures and to 2001/02 mental health utilisation figures for ethnic communities for Victoria, mental health service catchment areas, and DHS regions. The population figures are available for children and adolescents (0-19 years); adults (15-64 years) and the aged (65 years and over).

Mental health figures are available on adults aged 15-64, and on persons aged 65 years and over. Data on children and adolescents will follow.

Please chose a Population link and then the relevant mental health service catchment area to obtain data on the population's birthplace, language spoken at home, English proficiency, and (for the 0-14 population) language spoken at home by the parents' birthplace. Chose a Mental Health Service Users link to obtain data on community clients' birthplace, treated prevalence by birthplace, and preferred language.
