
Welcome to the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) Perinatal Mental Health Resource Portal for Health Professionals
The CaLD Perinatal Mental Health Resource Portal was compiled by the Victorian Transcultural Psychiatry Unit (VTPU) as a component of the CaLD Perinatal Project, which the VTPU managed as part of the Victorian response to the National Perinatal Depression Initiative. The CaLD Perinatal Resource Portal provides links to relevant organisations, publications and resources relating to perinatal mental health in CaLD communities for health professional/clinician’s working in the field.

Online Training: Cultural responsiveness in perinatal mental health
As part of the CaLD Perinatal Project, the VTPU offers an free, non-accredited online training module for health professionals titled “Cultural responsiveness in perinatal mental health: Working effectively with women and their families from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds” which aims to provided staff with an introduction to cultural responsiveness in perinatal mental health settings.
